Privacy and Data Rights
How to exercise access, correction, deletion, portability, and consent-withdrawal rights under Québec Law 25 and Canadian privacy law.
Available rights
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion or de-indexing where the law allows.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing.
- Request portability of computerized personal information where technically feasible.
- Complain to Québec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
Submit a request
Email the privacy lead with your account email and the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information needed to verify identity and protect the confidentiality of litigation files.
Edition framework
Québec Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA, with Québec transfer-impact assessment before personal information leaves Québec.
Prevailing language
French prevails in case of discrepancy, in accordance with Québec's Charter of the French language (Loi 96).
Retention and legal hold
Closed matter archives are retained at least through the applicable Québec/Canadian limitation and accounting periods; judgment-debt archives use the 10-year C.C.Q. article 2924 horizon where recorded.
Legal hold suspends deletion or purge while a dispute, investigation, preservation duty, or user request requires preservation.
